Level Analysis of Inside

Inside is a staunchly linear game, the player takes control of an unnamed young red-shirted boy, and you’ll spend most time running from left to right. The core mechanic is controlled. The player can walk, run, swim, climb, and use many objects to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles. This game starts in a dark forest, as you leave the forest behind and head into the farmlands.

The only thing you know is that you need keep running and escape from the guards, also weird creatures. Besides, you can find 13 hidden orbs scattered throughout the game. After you find all other collectibles and destroyed them, then you can go back to this cornfield and enter a hidden vault to obtain a secret ending.

Region gating:
           stagger player progression over time
United the plot of the whole game

It’s really hard to open this door, you need to pull the trigger in three directions. If you load back to that area with all collections destroyed, then you’ll find that the switch is active, and pulling it in the right way, then the door will open.

After entering a musical code, you will go through a tunnel that eventually leads to a room with a mind control helmet and a switch. Unlike the other helmets in the game, this one is for shutting down when the boy flicks the switch, simultaneously causing the boy to become motionless and thus ending the game.
